The thing
SlidesGo - a free collection of templates for Google Slides (& PowerPoint)
I found this…
Very useful.
Why?
Google Slides is my go-to for presentations, but their templates suuuuck. So when I found this free tool that had tons of actually nice templates to choose from, I was so glad.
(Like a kid in a candy shop, but in fact, a grown woman looking at slides, which might say more about me than I’m caring to face).
I used it for a talk I did the other day, and was really pleased with the result. There’s a bunch of different styles and categories to choose from, and you can, of course, tweak them.
How it was found
Via the fantastic Anna Youngs, who co-runs Triangirls, a community for women & non-binary peeps in tech (alongside her day job as product lead).
That’s it for now from me.
Have a fantastic day & until the next one.
Much care,

New here? Welcome! So glad you’re here.
Need to know a little more first?
It’s a simple deal: when I find something I can’t stop thinking or raving about, I’ll send out an email, without any specific frequency, about the thing, whatever it is - a tool, a podcast, a fashion show, a piece of art, a quote, a book, a Twitter thread... With gifs. Because they make the world a brighter place.
